What we collect
When you sign up and use Get Your SHOW Together™ ("the app," "we," "us"), we collect:
- Account information you give us directly: name, email address, phone number, business name, and mailing address.
- Show and business data you enter into the app: show applications, deadlines, booth details, contacts, tasks, notes, and financial figures you choose to track (sales, expenses).
- Files you upload: photos, booth maps, application packets, receipts, and any other documents you attach to a show.
- Usage information collected automatically: pages visited within the app, and basic technical data (browser type, general location inferred from IP) needed to keep the app working and to debug problems.
How we use it
- To run the app itself -- storing and displaying your shows, tasks, contacts, and files back to you.
- To send you account-related email: your personal access link, task reminders you've configured, and beta communications about the product.
- To improve the app based on how it's actually used and the feedback you give us.
- To show you weather forecasts for your upcoming shows, using the location you provide.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not share it with advertisers.
Show information shared between users
Get Your SHOW Together™ keeps a shared list of shows, so vendors can find shows and see application dates without leaving the app. This list is built from information about the show, not about you:
- What is shared: the show name, dates, venue and city, show type, application open and deadline dates, application links, the show's website, the coordinator's name and business contact details (phone, email), and ratings and reviews.
- What is never shared: whether you applied to or were accepted at a show, what you paid, your notes, your contacts, your photos, your files, or anything else in your own account.
- Ratings and reviews are shown without your name. Each one is attached to a specific show and date, so one year's experience is never mixed up with another's.
- Who can see it: only members of Get Your SHOW Together™. The shared show list, including ratings and reviews, is never published on the public internet or shown to search engines.
Where coordinator details come from: they are entered by vendors using the app, or taken from the show's own public website or application materials. They are business contact details that coordinators publish to reach vendors. If you are a show coordinator and want your information corrected or removed, email hello@handforgedfinery.com and we will update or remove it promptly.
Access to account data: the people who run Get Your SHOW Together™ can access the data stored in the app, but only as needed to operate it, provide support, and fix problems.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run the app. Each only sees the data it needs to do its specific job:
- Airtable -- stores your account and show data.
- Vercel -- hosts the app and processes requests.
- Resend -- delivers account emails (your access link, reminders).
None of these services are permitted to use your data for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety or rights of our users.
Your choices
- You can ask us to send you a copy of your data at any time.
- You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time -- email us and we'll take care of it.
- You can opt out of non-essential email communications while staying on the platform.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. We don't automatically delete old shows, photos, or records -- your show history has real, lasting value (tax records, past client contacts), and we'd rather you control when something goes away than have it disappear on a timer. If you ask us to delete your account, we will.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including relying on the security practices of the established platforms listed above. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security -- but we treat your data as if it were our own.
Beta-specific note
This app is actively being developed. While we take real care to test changes before they go live, beta software can have bugs. We recommend keeping your own copies of anything irreplaceable (contracts, critical financial records) until the app is out of beta.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll let beta testers know directly rather than silently updating this page.
